||On January 1, 2018, the Government of Alberta created a new regulated entity, the Calgary Metropolitan Region Board (CMRB), which will be responsible for planning in the Calgary Region. As a result, the Calgary Regional Partnership, a collaboration of 11 municipalities in and around Calgary Alberta, has decided to voluntary wind down and close operations effective February 28, 2018.
